Job Vacancy – Commercial Property Agent and Valuer
Duma Works is recruiting a Commercial Property Agent and Valuer for a top real estate business in Nairobi. Our client is looking to hire a mature, sophisticated, and experienced Commercial Property Agent and Valuer to grow the firm’s clients’ property sales and portfolio. This position is well suited to someone with extensive Real Estate experience, professional qualifications in Land Economics or Real Estate, and a wide professional network.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a knack for business development, strong relationship management skills, a track record of ensuring client satisfaction, be highly motivated, target-driven, and be a persuasive negotiator.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing of commercial properties and premises through advertising and other marketing channels.
- Fielding enquiries and negotiating with prospective and confirmed tenants and buyers.
- Proper initiatiation, documentation and completion of letting and saletransactions, liaising with lawyers and other parties for completion of the same.
- Communicating and liaising with landlords and clients as required on the needs, progress and completion of instructions and transactions.
- Development and maintenance of the property marketing website in liaison with our website developer and host.
- Occasional property valuation duties related to these and other company operations.
- Business Development in the Agency and other company operational fields.
- Property management duties and coordination as allocated.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Land Economics/Real Estate.
- Professional and technical understanding of real the estate market, trends and practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Marketing aptitude, enthusiasm and energy.
- Ability to close transactions.
- Ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail, speed and diligence.
- Good computer skills.
