Duma Works is recruiting a Training Coordinator Intern for our client, Krones LCS Center East Africa Ltd. The company provides after sales services to clients in the fields of process, filling and packaging technology.

Job Title : Training Co-ordinator Intern
Department : Training Department
Reporting Structure : Head of Training

Overview

The Training Co-ordinator intern contributes to the organizational goals by coordinating technical training between the client, service technicians and technical trainers. Ensure that all arrangements are made and confirmed prior to the training commencing and ensuring that all Krones KAG Academy standards are maintained throughout the training bookings. In addition, he/she is responsible for building solid and meaningful relationships with clients.

Task and Responsibilities

• Promote all training courses provided by the Krones Academy
• Client liaison regarding their training needs and requirements
• Co-ordinate travel, accommodation, car hire, visa, etc between the technical trainer and the client
• Cost control- ensure that all costs incurred are quoted for and invoiced to the client timeously and the WIP schedule is cleared of all expenses
• Co-ordinate training schedule for client training, both internally and externally
• Co-ordinate all administration duties relevant to each training course
• Generate monthly reports (sales and cost analysis)
• Any other duties within the scope of work as assigned by the Head of Training Department
• Selling trainings to already existing customers and potential customers

Knowledge and Experience

• Good experience in a customer care environment, preference 6 months’ experience
• Business Administrative skills
• Experience in automating processes and implementing new structures/processes

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Engineering/Marketing/IT
• Negotiation and selling skills

Personal competencies

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask different tasks
• Attention to detail

Specific Job Skills

• Excellent administrative skills
• Organized
• Customer relations

Computer Skills

• MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Knowledge about VBA and Macros is an advantage)
• SAP (preference)

Literacy and Numeracy

• Good command of English
• Basic understanding of financial principles
