The first point of contact between many employees and employers is the Curriculum Vitae. It is the single most important tool job seekers have while job hunting. Often times, it is the only resource most employers have to form a certain judgement about your skills, whether you are able to handle the job.
However, 90% of all CVs are thrown out the window after six seconds of reading them. It goes without saying that the CV needs to make the right impression from the beginning. Most job-seekers do not know how to make their resumes stand out amongst the others!
For customer service week #CSWEEK17 the idea of smiling is all I could think of. Because I had a particularly tough week and often found that I had to psych myself up to smile.
It is perhaps the most contagious and natural facial expression that comes to us humans. As a matter of fact, it has been proven in scientific studies that most people find it very difficult to frown when they look at someone smiling at them. So how is this relevant to customer service?
